Not sure how to log in?

  • Forgot your password? Visit your RELAY® site and click the on Forgot Password link.
  • Login Expired? E-mail support@rebt.com

Hands On - Signing in and Signing Up

  1. Sign in to RELAY®
    - Visit your RELAY® site. Hint: Your sign-in page is at a link that looks like:
    https://relay.rebt.com/tms/?siteId=#####
    Remember to bookmark your sign-in page!
    - Enter your User Name and Password. (Remember: passwords are case-sensitive)
    - Click Sign-in.

    If you have trouble signing in or think that your password has expired, please contact support@rebt.com.

  2. Join one of our free online Training Sessions.
    Training 1 is held every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Click here to sign up: www.rebt.com/trainingrequest.asp. Training 1 will take you through starting a RELAY® transaction step-by-step.

Sync with RELAY®
Connect your online forms to RELAY® to save time and present a consistent professional image

Tip: If you do not know how to log in to WINFormsOnline®, please contact winforms@car.org
If you do not know how to log in to ZipForm®Online, or are not certain of your account, please contact: support@zipform.com

Hands On - Sync a Demo Listing Presentation

  1. Tell WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online where to send your forms.
    You only need to update this information once, and your information is saved automatically.
    1. Go to your Administration page on WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online
    2. Click on the RELAY® Manager link on the right-hand side of your screen
    3. Enter your RELAY® username, Site Id # (the last five numbers on your site link) and RELAY® password
    4. Click Save
    5. Click on Transactions to see your current transactions in WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online

  2. Create a Demo Transaction in WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online.
    1. Create a new listing transaction in WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online, using your business address.
    2. From the drop-down "Select Action" next to your new transaction on WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online, select Sync with RELAY®

  3. Activate the transaction in RELAY®.
    1. Log in to your RELAY® site.
    2. Click on the Address for your new transaction.
    3. Click Edit Transaction Information
    4. Select that you represent the Listing Side
    5. Change the status to Pre-Contract and enter today's date for the Listing Date
    6. Confirm and Save your changes

Tip: Use your Demo Transaction. You can continue to use your demo transaction for presentations to future clients or as a quick guide to your listing and marketing tools.

RELAY® Documents
Start managing and tracking all of your real estate transaction documents on RELAY® to minimize paperwork and confusion

Tip: If you Synchronized your Demo Transaction from WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online, you will already have all of your forms as PDFs in the documents section of your transaction.

Hands On - Adding Documents

  1. Add a new electronic document
    1. Open your demo transaction in RELAY®
    2. Click the Documents tab
    3. Click Add Document
    4. Click Browse to find a sample marketing flyer and select it from your computer.
    5. Enter the description: Sample Marketing Flyer, and click Save

  2. Controlling who can see your documents - Make a document visible
    1. A red X means a document is not visible
    2. Click on the red X next to a document to turn it into a clear eye
    3. Now the document can be seen

    When other people are added to your transaction, they automatically receive a personalized e-mail when a new document is available.

  3. Adding a new version
    The most current version of a document always shows up in your document list. RELAY® document names end in their version number.
    1. Click the magnifying glass next to Sample_Marketing_flyer_V_1
    2. Click New Version
    3. Browse for another sample marketing flyer file
    4. Enter notes for this version
    5. Confirm and Save your changes

Tip: Think big. You can add any common computer documents to RELAY®, including picture and virtual tour files. Add as many files as you need to for any transaction, just keep each file under 10 MB each, since it can be difficult for users with slower internet connections to get larger files.

RELAY® Checklists
Start managing and tracking all of your transaction activities in RELAY® and never lose track of important deadlines.

Tip: Use your current paper checklist as a guide for your RELAY® Checklist Template.

Hands On - Create your Checklist

  1. Copy a checklist template
    1. Click Activities at the top of your RELAY® screen
    2. Click Checklist Templates
    3. Click on a Template name
    4. Click Copy to copy the checklist template
    5. Enter the name: Listing Presentation, and click Save

  2. You can now edit your template or add activities. When you are ready to use your Checklist Template, click on the red X next to the template to make it available.

  3. Apply a checklist
    1. Open your Demo Transaction
    2. Click on the Checklist tab
    3. Click Apply Checklist Template
    4. Select the Listing Presentation

    The activities and documents in your Listing Presentation template are automatically added to your transaction.

  4. Add an appointment to your computer calendar (such as Outlook)
    1. Click on the Checklist tab
    2. Click on the Activity Name
    3. Click Add to my Calendar
    4. When prompted, click Open
    5. Set the time and Save your appointment

    Remember, you do not need to do this for every activity because RELAY® automatically sends you daily reminders.

Tip: Save time. Keep documents you use in all of your transactions (aside from forms in WINFormsOnline® or ZipForm®Online) in checklist templates so that they are automatically added to your transactions.

Add your client and the other agent
RELAYT lets you connect to everyone involved in the transaction, keeping everyone more informed.

Tip: Add a delegate to your transaction that can assist you with managing the transaction, such as a Transaction Coordinator or an Agent Assistant.

Hands On - Adding Contacts

  1. Add a Welcome Note
    1. Click the Notes tab
    2. Click Add a Note
    3. For note type, enter Welcome Note
    4. Copy this note:
      "Welcome to Online Real Estate! This site is updated regularly with information for your real estate transaction. Please contact me if you have any questions!"
    5. Make this note visible to the seller and Save your changes

  2. Add a Seller
    1. Click on the Coversheet tab
    2. Click Contacts
    3. Click Add Seller
    4. Check the box marked Create Account
    5. Enter your contact information, and Save the account

    You will receive a new Welcome to RELAYT email with a login for this demo seller account. Use this to see what your client sees on your RELAYT site.

  3. Create a History
    1. Sign in as the Seller
    2. Open a document
    3. Log out and Sign in as yourself
    4. Open your transaction
    5. Click on the History tab

    RELAY® tracks when someone in your transaction opens or looks at a document.

Tip: Adding a buying agent You can add the buying agent when you have a Pending transaction. Create a free Guest Agent account by clicking Add Agent and then checking the Create Account box.

Market your listings with Public Documents
Use RELAYT Public Document pages to enhance your MLS posts, market your listings, and gather leads.

Tip: You can use a public document page to give yourself an on-demand listing presentation by using your listing presentation documents.

Hands On - Create a Listing Presentation Page

  1. Add a Picture
    1. Upload a new document
      Use a picture of yourself next to a SOLD sign
      See Part 3 for instructions on adding a document
    2. Name your document:
      In front of my last listing

  2. Make Public
    1. Click on Public Documents (on your Documents tab)
    2. Click Make Public
    3. Enter a Welcome message:
      Welcome to my listing presentation site. Here you can find more information about me, and look at the online real estate services I offer.
    4. Click Update
    5. Make In front of my last listing V_1 visible by clicking the red X

    Click the public link to view your new Public Documents site

  3. Put this link online
    1. Click Add to My Website
    2. Copy the link
      (Highlight the text, and hit: CTRL + C)
    3. Paste the link on your website
      (Highlight the text, and hit: CTRL + V)
    4. Edit the text for your link

    RELAY® tracks when someone looks at your Public Documents Page, and stores their contact information in the History tab of your Transaction.

Tip: Contact your leads. RELAYT's privacy policy allows you to contact people who access your public documents with more information about the property.

Getting to Know RELAY® - Part 7 of 7

Satisfy clients with a Closing gift they'll treasure - Less Papers!
Create Transaction CDs to archive transactions, or use them as personalized closing gifts for your clients.

Tip: Closing and Archive CDs can only be created on a Closed transaction, but Custom Transaction CDs can be created at any time and can contain any selection of the contents of your transaction.

Hands On - Create a Transaction CD

  1. Make the CD in RELAY®
    1. Click on Create Transaction CD (on your Coversheet tab)
    2. Name your CD "Listing Presentation" and click Next
    3. Select your documents and preview your CD label
    4. Click Confirm CD Generation
    5. When prompted, save the .ZIP file to your desktop as "Listing Presentation"

  2. Burn to Disc
    1. Right-click the .ZIP file on your desktop
    2. Click Extract to folder
    3. Insert a blank CD into your burner
    4. Add the folder to the CD
    5. Burn the CD

    You can add the entire folder, or add the contents of the folder to your CD. The contents should consist of a file called index.html and additional folders, depending on the contents of your CD. Double-click index.html to view your transaction CD.

  3. Print a label
    1. Open the transaction CD file
    2. Open the cdLabel folder
    3. Double-click on cdLabel.jpg
    4. Print on CD Label paper according to the printing instructions for your CD Labels

Tip: Closing Transactions. When you have completed a transaction, change the status from Pending to Closed so that you can burn a Closing Package for your client and a transaction archive for your records.
