Turning Taxes Around: Turn past transactions into new referrals!

When RELAY® Agent Catie Garcia's clients sit down to fill out their forms for April 15, they're going to think about her. And that's exactly the way she wants it.

Her clients will find tax time a breeze because Catie is providing them with a personalized RELAY® CD containing their transaction documents, HUD-1 forms, and other necessary tax information.

Since these transactions closed before Catie started using RELAY®, she is able to show past clients her new online services and give herself a complete archive of her transactions for her office records.

Here is how you can breathe new life into past transactions:

  1. Add the HUD-1 and other tax documents to your transaction
  2. Click the Create CD button located on your transaction coversheet
  3. Select the tax documents and other contents for your CD
  4. Click Confirm CD Generation to download the .ZIP file of your CD

Using Activity Notifications After a Transaction is Closed
RELAY® F.A.Q. of the Month

Asked by RELAY® user Helen Waca of Advantage Real Estate in Antigo, WI.

My transaction is closed, so why am I still receiving activity notifications?

You can still receive Activity Notifications after a transaction is closed, so that you can schedule activities after the closing date, or wrap up any loose ends to ensure nothing is overlooked in your transaction.

Tip: Enter delivery dates, client follow-ups, and more in your Checklist Template as activities due after a transaction is closed to receive automatic reminders after closing!

You are still receiving activity notices on this transaction because you still have activities in this transaction which were not marked as "Completed" which are either coming due or overdue.

To mark these activities as "Completed", or to remove them from the transaction:

  1. Search for and open your Closed transaction
  2. Click on your Checklist tab
  3. Change the activity status to Completed
    Note: You can update more than one activity at a time from your checklist tab!
  4. Click Update Status
  5. Enter your Status Change Comment and click Save

Now you won't receive any more Notifications for these activities!
