LOS ANGELES (May 4) – The Madera Association of REALTORS® will make RELAY® online transaction management available free to its members as a benefit of membership through a commitment with Real Estate Business Technologies LLC, the company announced today.
RELAY®, an easy-to-use Internet tool for real estate professionals, recently released RELAY® Version 2.0. The latest version of the software includes integrated activity management, allowing agents and brokers to t rack and manage all activities related to a transaction; export activities directly into Outlook Calendar; and receive automatic, color-coded notifications when tasks need attention.
“Our investment in RELAY® will enable our members to streamline their work and add value to the services they provide to home buyers and sellers in California,” said Kathleen Carey, president of the Madera Association of REALTORS®. “REALTORS® in the Madera Association will be among the first to incorporate RELAY® into their day-to-day business operations, learning time- and money-saving practices online, as well as offering online customer contact.”
The Madera Association of REALTORS® is the third REALTOR® association to provide RELAY® as a member benefit, along with the Merced Association of REALTORS® and the Victor Valley Association of REALTORS®.
RELAY® features one-click integration with ZipForm® and WINForms Online®, the electronic forms software used by nearly 400,000 REALTORS® nationwide. The one-click integration feature allows users to move both the transaction data and the completed form – purchase agreements and disclosure documents for example – to the RELAY® transaction management system. As a Web-based transaction management system, there is no hardware to purchase or software to install in order to use RELAY®. All that is required is Internet access; agents or their clients can view their secure online transaction anytime, anywhere.
“RELAY® transaction management is a logical extension of WINForms Online® electronic forms software,” said CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® President Vince Malta. “By offering RELAY® online transaction management as a member benefit, the Madera Association of REALTORS® supports our vision of a complete electronic transaction process when buying or selling a home.”
RELAY® was recently declared compliant with current security standards following an application security review performed by Cybertrust Inc., a global information security services specialist. Based on compliance in three categories—operating system and platform, connectivity and networking, and application development—RELAY® is “at a low risk of security incident,” according to Cybertrust’s findings. RELAY® also was recently awarded the REALTOR® Secure designation by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®’ Center for REALTOR® Technology (CRT). The designation covers the entire REBT organization, including the RELAY® application, certifying that best practices are in place to protect real estate information and systems from risk.
